The Holy Name Band is a 65 piece concert band
based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Founded in 1939 by the Holy Name Society, the Band is directed by Joe Herde, one of the original members. No longer associated with the Society, the band is made up of volunteer members from all denominations and walks of life.

The Holy Name Band can be found most Monday nights either rehearsing at Saint X High School or playing for the residents and staff of local nursing homes, churches, community centers or any venue where good music is needed.
